GOLO delivers 500 healthy meals to the New Castle County Hope Center

By Eden Covington on September 02, 2025

At GOLO, we believe that everyone deserves access to real, nourishing food — no matter their circumstances. That’s why on Monday, August 18, 2025, our team delivered more than 500 GOLO Foods® meals to the New Castle County Hope Center, a place that provides shelter and support to individuals and families in need.

County Executive Marcus Henry and members of the Hope Center joined us to help unload the meals. It was a nice moment of teamwork and community spirit.

"It's critically important that our residents get healthy meals, and I'm just so grateful to GOLO for offering this right now," said Marcus. "It's a holistic approach to make sure our residents get the care they need, and food is a big part of that care."

The donation reinforces GOLO’s ongoing commitment to fighting food insecurity in local communities. As our President and Co-founder, Jennifer Brooks, explained:

"Food insecurity is a growing challenge impacting communities nationwide. At GOLO, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy healthy, nutritious food. We’re passionate about giving people access to wholesome meals and providing the knowledge that good nutrition supports lasting health and longevity."

We’re honored to stand alongside the Hope Center and New Castle County in helping our neighbors live healthier, fuller lives, one meal at a time.
